This autumn, together with Corning, we are bringing something truly valuable to the Estonian FTTx sector — a full-day training session, which provides participants with both in-depth technical knowledge and practical experience. The training takes place over two consecutive days: on September 17 in Tartu and on September 18 in Tallinn.
Corning is one of the world’s leading developers of fiber optic cables and FTTx solutions, and Gridstock is their official distributor in Estonia. This means the training day goes beyond mere theory—it is an opportunity to hear directly from the manufacturer, see new solutions firsthand through hands-on experience, and understand how FTTx networks truly function at their best.
What does the training day offer?
Throughout the day, all key topics concerning modern FTTx networks will be covered:
Trends and key challenges of FTTx networks
Selection of fiber optic cables and fibers for various networks
Joint closures, distribution panels, terminals, and new IP68 solutions
Introduction to the ODP platform
Evolution of BPEO joint closures and the new-generation ECAM system
Practical demonstration, installation tips, and Q&A session
This training is suitable to anyone interested in Corning products and FTTx networks — for designers, installers, and operators, as well as for those who simply wish to better understand how modern fiber networks are built.
Free participation — registration required
The training day is completely free, but the number of places is limited. You can register here:

👉 Registration link for the Tallinn training session: Tallinn
Note! The training will be conducted in English.
Why come?
Because the best knowledge is born when it comes directly from the source.
Because a Corning expert shares real-world examples of projects by European and MEA operators.
And honestly—because a training day like this doesn't happen often.
