Gridstock cable protection plates are helping to build Tsirguliina’s new battery power plant.
One of the most significant new development projects for Estonia’s energy system is taking shape in Tsirguliina, Valga County: a battery power plant that utilizes core technology produced exclusively in Europe. In the first phase of the project, a battery facility with a capacity of 100 MW and an energy storage capacity of 200 MWh will be constructed, helping to balance electricity prices and stabilize Estonia’s power grid.
Gridstock is pleased to contribute to the completion of this strategic facility by supplying equipment for the protection of the station's underground infrastructure cable protection plates, which ensure the mechanical protection of critical cables throughout the entire facility. Our solutions are designed to withstand Estonian climatic conditions, reduce the risk of faults, and ensure the reliability of the infrastructure for years to come.
The Tsirguliina battery power plant represents a significant step in strengthening Estonia’s energy security; the battery park helps reduce price fluctuations, balance frequency, and support the transition to a more stable European electricity system.
Gridstock’s contribution helps ensure that the station’s critical connections are protected and ready to operate with new-generation energy technology.
