A Saaremaa weekend that brought together team spirit, cooperation, and new experiences.

There are moments that arrive quietly but linger long. For us, such a moment occurred on Saaremaa—a time that brought together team spirit, collaboration, and that special sense of peace rarely found amidst the daily rush.

Friday evening with Connecto: people, not just projects

The weekend began on Friday evening with Connecto. A friendly contest on the sauna bench, a warm conversation, and lighthearted laughter served as a reminder that behind every successful collaboration lie real people you can look in the eye.

The evening was simple, honest, and human—the kind that reaffirms that partnership is not merely about fulfilling work tasks, but also about trust that grows through genuine, in-person encounters.

Our joint projects — including Developing solutions for the Kuivastu and Virtsu ports — have been important and meaningful. But even more important is the feeling that these projects are being carried out together, not just side by side.

Saturday on the golf course: first steps in a new world

Saturday took us to the golf course. For most, it was a completely new experience—a little exciting, a little daunting, and a little funny.

The first few shots were clumsy—some balls rolled over the edge of the hole as if out of spite, and there were moments that made me wonder if throwing the club was allowed. But we laughed, tried again, supported each other, and enjoyed it all.

Playing golf was anything but a leisurely stroll on the grass. Some shots made us laugh, others tested our patience, and the occasional flying divot made it clear that we wouldn't be turning into the next Tiger Woods anytime soon. 😅

But it was precisely those moments that made the whole day special. It was a time when the team could be together—truly, without rushing and without pressure.

The atmosphere of Saaremaa: a space to breathe and simply be.

Saaremaa’s peaceful atmosphere, delicious eateries, and summer weather created a space where the team could truly breathe. It was easy to be present there—to listen, laugh, and share.

Moments like these are not merely “team events.” They are pauses that replenish energy. They are stories that stay within the team and surface when they are needed most.

Team spirit born in real life

The weekend reminded us that team spirit is born in shared moments—not in work tasks. Time spent together, new experiences, and the strengthening of the partnership create a foundation for the emergence of better ideas, stronger projects, and a more cohesive team.

We felt good this weekend. And that is exactly where team spirit begins.
